Lawn Cutting

The entire lawn cut professionally (front, back, sides and boulevards), all edges trimmed and concrete/asphalt/deck areas are blown (cleared off) to ensure clippings are not left.

We provide weekly mowing from the 1st week of May until the last week of October. The final cut in October ensures the lawn is left at an appropriate height over winter which helps reduce Snow Mold and Vole (Field Mice) damage which encourages strong, healthy growth in the Spring.

Sodding

Sodding starting at $3 + HST per square foot!

If the grading needs to be fixed, or If your lawn is severely suffering, it may need to be re-sodded. The general rule of thumb is when your lawn is less than 45% grass, it should be replaced.

Here at A&J Landscaping we make sure every step of the re-sodding process is complete to ensure a beautiful golf course like lawn. We first remove and dispose of the existing lawn, weeds and vegetation. We then add 1'-2'" topsoil, to help level out the lawn. Then we unroll strips of premium Kentucky Bluegrass which is the best grass type available for Sod. After the Sod is laid, it is rolled and fertilized.

All sod installations by A&J Landscaping are guaranteed provided proper watering and mowing has taken place. You can have a beautiful brand new backyard and be the envy of all your neighbors in just one weekend! Starting at just $2.49+ HST per square foot!

Mulch Delivery and Installation

Mulch is a mix of shredded wood from different tree varieties, most common of them being Cedar. This can be dyed multiple colours. It is applied to help improve moisture retention, suppress weed growth and help moderate soil temperatures. Here at A&J Landscaping we not only deliver a Premium Mulch, but also install it in your garden beds for less than the price of having a "Big Bag" of mulch delivered.

Topdressing is an excellent way to increase the available nutrients in a lawn. Our premium topdressing is a Triple Mix of Sand, Peat Moss and Soil. Here at A&J Landscaping, not only do we deliver this Premium Triple Mix, we also install it in your lawn or garden for less than the price of having a "Big Bag" of soil delivered!

Fertilizing

Fertilizers starting at just $74.99 + HST per visit!

Here at A&J Landscaping we carefully time our Fertilizer applications and use a slow release Polyon based fertilizer with Alfalfa, or a slow release 25-5-10 65% SCU (Sulfur Coated Urea) Fertilizer with Alfalfa depending on program type.

This premium blend of fertilizer delivers the exact ratio of Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium that your grass is made up of and what it needs. Not only that, we add Organic Alfalfa Crumbs into our fertilizer. This dried plant product helps feed your grass, and nourishes the soil as well. As the dried plant breaks down, it increases microbial activity in the soil. The combination of a Slow Release Fertilizer and Alfalfa ensures excellent nutrient dispersion into the soil, and uniform growth. Your lawn will be fed by the fertilizer for up to 16 weeks.
